• February 11: College Super Bowl Party

    Inviting all college students to kick-off the semester and join the Super Bowl party next Sunday at 6pm! Festivities will be hosted at Pastor Emanuel & Melissa's house, 6314 Fairfield Rd, Oxford. There will be no college group this Sunday, the 4th.

  • Financial Peace University Class

    Join us for Financial Peace University, a 10-week program beginning February 18th at 9AM. It will be held in the Fireside Meeting Room downstairs, led by Brian Schlake. Each lesson will discuss a different topic designed to change the way you think about personal finance. Learn how to save money, live on a budget, communicate about money, eliminate debt, find bargains and experience the joy of financial freedom! Most importantly, you can gain confidence in how to steward the money God has entrusted to you well. Please click here to register and pay the $69 for class materials. This amount will be reimbursed, if you attend 9 of the 10 weeks!

    This Sunday we have the joy of hearing from one of our elders as Jim Samland will be preaching from John 9. We encourage you to read ahead in preparation for Sunday morning!   • Community Group Luncheon

    Join us on February 18th from 12-1:15pm for the Community Group Luncheon. If you're already in a community group, or are considering joining one, this lunch is for you! We'd love for you to come connect with others from OBF, meet the community group leaders, and hear about how to take the next step into a community group! During our lunch we'll talk more in depth about the vision for community groups over the next year and provide clear next steps to join a group.   • Sunday, Feb 23- John 10:1-21

  • Week of February 25th: Women’s Spring Bible Studies

    We are looking forward to gathering again to study God's Word in the spring 2024 season! We will study the second part of 1 Corinthians, chapters 10-16. There is no need to have studied 1 Corinthians in the fall to participate this spring. All are welcome! The 9-week study is expected to run from approximately February 25th - April 28th. Please register here. You can pick up your book anytime during the church office hours Monday - Thursday, 9:00 - 4:00 PM, or in the Next Steps area after Sunday services.   • Weekly Prayer

    Join Pastor Emanuel on Tuesdays from 6:30-7:30PM to pray for our church, our town, our country, and our world!

  • Membership Class–Postponed

    Our Membership Class is postponed until a later date. The majority of those interested aren't available this weekend. Pastor Emanuel will reach out to those interested and we will communicate the new date, once scheduled.

  • Sunday Sermon: John 10:22-42

  • Baptism Sunday

    Are you interested in being baptized as a public profession of your faith in Christ? The next baptisms will take place on Sunday, March 10th. If you would like to learn more about baptism and the opportunity to publicly declare your faith in Christ, please complete this interest form. Pastor Emanuel will follow up with you based on your submission!

    This Sunday Pastor Emanuel will preach through John 11. We encourage you to read the passage beforehand and make use of the study guide provided here.

  • Sunday March 17– John 12:1-11

    This Sunday we have the privilege of hearing from Taylor Scott as he continues our series in the Gospel of John. Taylor will be preaching from John 12:1-11 and as we do in every weekly email, we invite you to read the passage in preparation for Sunday morning! Please be in prayer for Pastor Emanuel as he flies out Sunday night for Romania. He will be preaching at a church planting conference in Bucharest next week to pastors and church planters from Romania and Moldova. As Pastor Emanuel is away, we will not have a formal prayer meeting for the next two weeks. Feel free to still gather at the church to pray, as you feel led!
