  • Night of Worship

    On September 29th at 7pm, join us for a special evening of worship through music, scripture reading, and prayer! This night will be a chance to come together, turn towards God in priase and petition, and be reoriented to truth.

  • Unfolding the Scriptures

    A 2 semester journey through the Bible's unified story. This course is for college students interested in studying the redemptive story that arcs across the entire Bible narrative.

  • Women’s Potluck & Pickleball

    Come join us for a fun evening of pickleball and fellowship! Whether you're a seasoned player or a curious beginner, this is a great chance to connect with other women from our church while getting some exercise. We'll be playing at the Tri Courts, 6025 Fairfield Road, tomorrow, October 3rd from 6-8pm!   • Meet & Greet

    Please join us for a special "Meet and Greet" between services and after second service with our Associate Pastor candidate, Justin Kailer, and our Director of Student Ministries candidate, Dan Wagner. This is an opportunity to meet both men and their wives and to ask any questions you may have in a casual, welcoming environment.

  • Women’s Fall Bible Studies

    We are looking forward to gathering again to study God's Word in the fall season! We will be studying Titus for 9 weeks. The study is expected to run from the week of September 28th - November 30th with a break for Thanksgiving. There will be several study times available and childcare offered at the Wednesday morning study.   • Congregational Meeting and Vote

    Please join the Congregational Meeting on October 19th at noon, after second service. We would love to have every church member come and vote! We will be voting on our candidate for the Associate Pastor position, Justin Kailer. Many of you have likely met Justin, as he and his family have served at OBF for many years. For those who would like to know more, his bio is provided here.

  • Fathers’ 3-10 Initiative Meeting for Men

    Fathers and grandfathers of children aged 3-10 are invited to the Kahre home for an update and discussion on the Father's 3-10 Initiative. Men interested in starting or learning about this program are also welcome to join us. You won't believe the lifetime impact just five minutes, 3-4 times a week will have on your kids' love for God and His Word, and on your relationship with them! Come share, learn, and begin this vital adventure with your most valuable disciples on Thursday, October 23rd, from 7:00-8:00 PM at Dave Kahre's home: 311 Miami Trail, Oxford.

  • A Conversation on Prayer

    Why do Protestants and Catholics pray differently? Do they share the same beliefs about prayer, or are the differences rooted in doctrine as well as practice? These are just a few of the questions that Pastor Emanuel and Fr. Jacob will discuss on October 24th. Pastor Emanuel will respond to common questions Catholics often have about Protestant approaches to prayer, while Fr. Jacob will address five key questions from Pastor Emanuel about Catholic teaching and practice on prayer. Where: Wilks Theater, Armstrong Student Center When: Friday, October 24 from 7:00–8:30 PM

  • Trunk or Treat

    We do Trunk or Treat as a way to stand as light while darkness and death is being celebrated in October! It is an opportunity to remind ourselves that we are children of the light and that we were once also in darkness (Ephesians 5:8). By registering to help on October 29th, you are linking arms as Christ's church to shine His light, have fellowship with one another, welcome the nations, and have conversations you might not otherwise have. On this night, we get to tell Oxford we love the Light and that we love them. Please register to help. Setup begins at 5:45pm and the event will run from 6:30-8pm. Have fun with this and invite your friends to serve with you or participate in this outreach event!
