Join us this Sunday as Chris Light, the Young Life Area Director, continues our study of Proverbs! He will take us through Proverbs 26:18-28 and examine how to apply wisdom in the area of our speech. This week, we are also excited to welcome our missionaries serving in Ukraine, Cheryl and Charley Warner! You won't want to miss the church picnic after service and the opportunity to talk with them more about what the Lord is doing in Ukraine.
We are excited to continue gathering to study God's Word this summer! We will be studying 1, 2, and 3 John for 7 weeks. The study is expected to run from approximately July 1st - August 12th. There will be free women's Bible study books on the table in the foyer this Sunday. These are studies that we used previously and have extra blank copies to share! There will be Jen Wilkin studies and books studying Malachi, Philippians, and Jonah, to name a few. Take a moment to check these out and bring some home!
On August 24th, we are excited to have children move up to their new grade level. 18-month olds can participate in the toddler classroom. And 3 years old can join the preschool classroom. We are excited to welcome back Miami students during our annual after-service picnic, a perfect opportunity to meet new people and catch up with old friends. We will be having a membership class Sunday, September 7th during the first service at 9am. Light breakfast items will be provided during the class hour. As a reminder, this membership class is not only for those who are interested in becoming members. It is also a great “first step” in getting to know more about Oxford Bible Fellowship! You will hear from several elders about our history, our leadership, our doctrinal statement, and other things that make us distinct from other churches in the Oxford area. On September 29th at 7pm, join us for a special evening of worship through music, scripture reading, and prayer! This night will be a chance to come together, turn towards God in priase and petition, and be reoriented to truth.
