  • Back-To-School Prayer

The new school year is upon us! In a few weeks, Talawanda and private schools will begin, homeschool families will start, and college students will flock back to Miami and OBF. Let's usher in the 2024-2025 School Year with prayer! Would you join us Saturday August 10th at 9:30am? Invite your friends, grandparents and uncles/aunts to join us! We will meet at OBF first and then have groups drive to Marshall, Bogin, Kramer, and Talawanda Middle and High School. Prayer for homeschool families and private schools will take place in our church building. A prayer guide will be provided! Please email Pati Greene at [email protected] if you're participating and let her know which location you would like to pray at. We are looking forward to praying with you!

  • Sunday Sermon: Ezra 9

Join us this week as Pastor Emanuel walks us through Ezra 9. We encourage you each week to read through the sermon passage ahead of time in preparation for Sunday’s message. Discussion questions for Ezra 9 can be found here. Like last week, K - 3rd grade students will begin the service with us and be dismissed from the sanctuary to their classes after the scripture reading. Please sign-in your children before service. This will make it easier when they are dismissed. Thank you!

  • Community Group Leader’s Luncheon

If you are a community group leader or interested in finding out about leading a community group at OBF, we invite you to attend an informational meeting and luncheon on August 18th after the service. We will be meeting from 12pm - 2pm on the 18th as we talk about the current state of OBF Community Groups and what our plans are going forward. To RSVP, please email [email protected].

  • Sunday Sermon: 1 Peter 1:3-12

Last Sunday was such a powerful reminder of why God has placed Oxford Bible Fellowship on the Maple, Chestnut corner! Our building could barely fit the number of students and families that attended the second service! Praise God! Thank you to those of you who willingly gave up your seat so a student could have a place to sit. Thank you to everyone who contributed towards Sunday's church picnic. Thank you to those who helped set up and those who stayed until everything was cleaned up. Thank you for being a church family that demonstrates there is always room for one more at the family table! To Christ be the glory in the church throughout all generations, forever and ever. Amen. This Sunday we will continue our study of the letter of 1 Peter and also celebrate the Lord’s table. Our passage of study will be 1 Peter 1:3-12. We encourage you to read ahead in preparation for Sunday morning. The study guide for Sunday’s passage can be found here.
